Rain Cloud In a Jar Science Experiment

Materials:

  • Jar or bowl

  • Water

  • Cup

  • Food colouring

  • Shaving cream

  • Pipette

Procedure:

  • Fill jar or bowl 2/3 full of water.

  • Cover the top with shaving cream to make the cloud.

  • Drop 6 drops of food colouring onto the shaving cream.

  • Using a pipette and the water in a separate cup, drip water onto the shaving cream.

  • Watch to see what happens under the “cloud”.
