Flower Jar Mother’s Day Card
This is an easy card that can be used for Mothers/important person in my life Day. It’s very low prep and no mess, perfect for a last-minute card.
Time required: 30-40 minutes
Materials:
Construction paper (various colours)
White paper
I printed a jar on the sheets for my students. You can do this or have students draw their own jar
Pencil & eraser
Sharpie
Pencil crayons or crayons
Steps:
If drawing the jar, do so first.
Draw a series of wildflowers in the jar, making sure that each one has a stem that comes down.
Trace the flowers in Sharpie and erase any pencil lines.
Colour the flowers with pencil crayons or crayons.
Optionally, add some water to the jar or some blue shine marks for the glass.
Cut out the jar of flowers, leaving a white edge around the outside.
Glue the jar onto your choice of construction paper, folded into a card shape.
Students may add words to the front and write a message inside the card.
